Barely four days after Update 1, Anime Astral Simulator shipped Update 1.5 — and it quietly fixes the thing players complained about most in our Update 1 breakdown: the Raid Map that was in the patch notes but missing from the game. It’s here now as the Timeless Raid, alongside a Merchant, a new lobby Cosmic Gacha, a reworked Ninja Village progression line, and one of the biggest code drops the game has had.
Everything below is community-reported from launch-week videos and streams — the official Trello hadn’t been updated for 1.5 when we last checked. Verify in-game.
Timeless Raids and Timeless Keys
The headline feature. The Timeless Raid (some sources call it the Limited Raid) is a wave/tower-style mode that costs 1 Timeless Key per entry. Keys are community-reported as a roughly 5% drop from secret bosses — the documented example is Itachi, the hidden side-quest boss in Ninja Village, so he’s suddenly worth farming again.
Inside, you clear escalating waves for Timeless currency and per-wave achievement bonuses (community footage shows +5% damage, +5% yen, +5% power and +0.5 luck steps). Two more things community sources report:
- The raid has a low-chance Divine pet drop (Kurami — see below).
- It’s AFK-able at max Range: with the Range upgrade at level 13, your hits cover the waves without repositioning. Range still levels through Solo City gates, so Update 1 grinding feeds directly into this.
The Merchant and Timeless Coins
Raids pay out Timeless Coins, and a new Merchant spends them. Beyond that, details are thin: no source we track has published the Merchant’s full stock or prices yet. We’ll flesh this section out once the inventory is documented — treat any specific price list you see elsewhere as unverified for now.
Cosmic Gacha in the Lobby
The Lobby Arena gained a Cosmic Gacha rolled with a new Cosmic currency. Community videos show it paying out stat bonuses and Timeless Keys, which makes it a second key source if boss farming isn’t going your way. Rates are unpublished.
New Ninja Village progression
World 1 got a new progression line built on Ninja Tokens, which drop a few at a time from Ninja Village mini-bosses (community reports say 2–3 per kill). Tokens feed upgrade rolls — footage shows steps like a ~15% chance roll for bonus strength and a ~50% chance roll for power. It’s a welcome reason to revisit Ninja Village beyond Itachi key runs, and it pairs naturally with the existing Dojoutsu grind there.
The Kurami bundle — promising, unverified
Update 1.5’s store bundle includes Kurami, a Divine fighter, plus one of every potion and 199 F2P Tickets. One community video reports Kurami at x22,500 — which would put it above Bezu (x15,000) as the strongest unit in the game. The same video says the raid can drop it at a low chance.
We want to be clear about confidence here: that multiplier comes from a single unverified source, so Kurami’s page is marked pending and we keep it out of our fighters ranking until a second source or the Trello confirms it. If you’re deciding whether to buy the bundle, treat x22,500 as a rumor, not a stat.
Nine new codes — including the biggest one yet
Update 1.5 landed with the largest code wave so far, all community-reported and live as of June 10:
| Code | Reward |
|---|---|
| REWARDSFIXED | 500 F2P Tickets + 5 potions — the most valuable code in the game |
| SORRYFORSHUTDOWN3 | 200 F2P Tickets + 5 potions |
| 17KPLAYERS | 200 F2P Tickets + 5 potions |
| UPDATE1.5 | 200 F2P Tickets + 5 potions |
| 3KEVENT | 200 F2P Tickets + 5 potions |
| 3MVISITS / 3.5MVISITS | 200 F2P Tickets + 5 potions each |
| 8KLIKES / 4KFAVS | 200 F2P Tickets + 5 potions each |
REWARDSFIXED was compensation for a rewards bug (and SORRYFORSHUTDOWN3 for the third emergency shutdown — this dev team apologizes in currency). The full working list, including every older milestone code, lives on the codes page.
Smaller changes
- Lobby UI rework — cleaner menus, new gacha placement
- Gate achievements and raid achievements added
- Assorted fixes following the Update 1 launch bugs (the missing Arise prompt among them — community reports say it still misfires occasionally)
Should you care?
If Update 1 was the content drop, 1.5 is the retention patch: a reason to farm World 1 again (keys + Ninja Tokens), a reason to max Range (AFK raids), and 1,800 F2P Tickets of free codes to roll with. Start with the codes, farm Itachi for a key, and put your first Timeless Coins toward whatever the Merchant turns out to sell — we’ll update once that’s documented. New to the game entirely? Start with the fighters database and world order instead, then come back once you’ve cleared Titan Wall.
