Update 2 just dropped a whole new world on Anime Astral Simulator — Slayer Village, the Demon Slayer-inspired World 6 — and it resets the power ceiling hard: the new Star tops out at a fighter worth more than double the previous best. It also quietly introduces the game’s first shiny mechanic and, on the data side, finally confirms the crafted units players had been guessing at for weeks. Here’s everything new, pulled from the official Trello on our June 18 re-check. Community-reported throughout — verify in-game.
Slayer Village: the new World 6
Slayer Village unlocks after the Solo City quest chain and ships with a full new Star roster from the Demon Moon Gacha:
| Fighter | Rarity | Multiplier (normal) | Shiny |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yoruchi | Divine | x32,500 | x48,800 |
| Gymoei | Secret | x14,000 | x21,000 |
| Uzui | Mythic | x2,200 | x3,300 |
| Iguro | Legendary | x1,100 | x1,600 |
| Inosuke | Epic | x875 | x1,300 |
| Zenitsu | Rare | x700 | x1,000 |
| Tanjiro | Uncommon | x560 | x840 |
| Nezoka | Common | x450 | x675 |
That Common — Nezoka at x450 — already outscales Solo City’s Uncommon (Esi, x215), the clearest proof yet of the rule our tier list is built on: the newest world’s floor beats the old world’s mid-tier.
Yoruchi is the new best fighter in the game
Yoruchi (Divine, x32,500 normal, x48,800 shiny) takes the #1 slot outright, more than doubling Bezu’s x15,000. Like every Divine it has no pity (community-reported), so it’s a chase, not a plan — and the rumored Kurami (x22,500) still isn’t on the Trello, so even if it surfaced it would slot second, behind Yoruchi. We keep Kurami pending until a real source confirms it.
The shiny pet mechanic
New with Slayer Village: every pet rolls in a normal or shiny version, with shiny worth roughly 1.5x the normal multiplier (shiny Yoruchi x48,800 vs x32,500). It’s the first time the game has layered a second rarity axis on top of the tier ladder, and it doubles the chase depth of the world — you’re not just hunting the Divine, you’re hunting the shiny Divine. Drop odds for shiny aren’t published anywhere; treat the 1.5x figure as the verified part and the rates as unknown.
Crafted units — finally confirmed
For weeks the crafted units in earlier worlds were community guesswork (we deliberately left them off the fighters database rather than publish unverifiable names). Update 2’s Trello refresh confirms a crafted unit for every world:
| World | Crafted unit | Multiplier | Recipe |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ninja Village | Madera | x77.5 | 3x Minoto + 25 Ninja Shards |
| Namek City | Broly | x175 | 3x Koku + 25 Namek Shards |
| Wano Island | Morshal D Teach | x380 | 3x Mihowk + 25 Wano Shards |
| Titan Wall | Lovi Ackerman | x820 | 3x Erwon Smith + 25 Titan Shards |
| Solo City | Sung Ice | x2,000 | 3x Sung TimeSkip + 25 Solo Shards |
| Slayer Village | Rengeko | x5,500 | 3x Uzui + 25 Slayer Shards |
Two notes for accuracy: the Titan Wall card types the result name “Love Ackerman” while its recipe says “Lovi Ackerman” — likely a board typo, so we use Lovi Ackerman. And Rengeko has a shiny craft (3x Shiny Uzui + 75 Slayer Shards) producing Shiny Rengeko at x8,250. Because the Mythic fodder is pity-reachable at 1,000 rolls, crafted units are the only guaranteed path to Secret-tier-class power — which is why our tier list now ranks them S+.
Other Slayer Village systems
The Trello’s Slayer Village card lists more than the roster: a Demon Moon Gacha (the world’s Star), Slayer Upgrades, a Sword Passive that buffs damage, the Infinity Castle gamemode, and a brand-new Battlepass — the feature the BATTLEPASS code is named after. Details on costs and the Infinity Castle’s structure aren’t documented yet; we’ll flesh out the Slayer Village guide as they surface.
New Update 2 codes
The update landed with its own code wave — UPDATE2, UPDATE2.5, BATTLEPASS, MOUNTS, TRACKER, plus a batch of visit/player milestone codes (7MVISITS through 10MVISITS, 24KPLAYERS through 28KPLAYERS and more). The full working list is up to roughly 60 codes with zero confirmed expired; grab them on the codes page, and our F2P Tickets guide covers turning the haul into permanent gamepasses before you start rolling the Demon Moon Gacha.
How it compares to Update 1 and 1.5
Where Update 1 added a whole system layer (Gates, the Arise System, shadows) and Update 1.5 was the retention patch (Timeless Raids, the Merchant, Cosmic Gacha), Update 2 is a content drop — a new world, a new ceiling, a new collectible axis in shiny pets. If you’ve cleared Solo City, the move is straightforward: redeem the new codes, push the Slayer Village quest chain, and start farming toward Uzui (the pity-reachable Mythic) on the way to a Yoruchi you’ll probably never pity. New to the game? Start at the beginner guide — Slayer Village is five worlds away, and the floor is still Ninja Village’s 7,500-HP mobs.
